I was photographed in the set of “Philosophy in the Boudoir” by Andre Stefano, a well-known photographer in the performing arts scene in São Paulo. The feature film is coming to the movie theaters by the end of 2017. I was cast as the “Slave”, reprising my role, with adaptations, from the theater play by the same name from the Satyros Theater Co. The play and the movie are adaptations by Rodolfo García Vázquez — director of Satyros — of the controversial original book by the Marquis de Sade, written in the context of the French Revolution.
It was actually this part in the theater that gave me the kickstart to my research on nude art. That’s because my character, both in the play and in the movie, is naked for the entire duration of it. I was invited to model nude for the first time by a photographer who enjoyed my performance in the play.
